Steves Take: NBA Tonight; Boston Celtics vs Miami Heat

Tonight in the NBA the Boston Celtics take on the Miami Heat in game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals.  This is a best of 7 series with the first game taking place in Miami.

These two teams met 3 times during the regular season with the Boston Celtics winning 2 out of the 3.

The Celtics averaged over 103 points per game vs the Heat as Miami averaged just over 92 points per game.  The Celtics will be a tough defensive match for Miami with the Celtics bench being the difference maker. Plus the hot hand of Brian Williams from 3 point land.

Commentary

Boston is the younger team but Miami has a slight advantage in coaching. Jayson Tatum has been to the Conference finals twice already and he’s only 24 years.

Celtics will take this series in 7 games.

For game 1 take the Celtics plus 4.5 points and under 205.
