Today, Mayor John Tory announced that due to the continued success of the Vax And Ride initiative, Team Toronto is extending the campaign an additional weekend, bringing COVID-19 vaccine clinics back to nine TTC stations from April 14 to 17.

More than 1,800 COVID-19 vaccines have been administered at Vax And Ride clinics since March 31, including first, second, third, fourth and paediatric doses.

Residents can visit the clinics on a walk-in basis, no appointment or TTC fare payment is required. A health card is not required for vaccination. Clinics offer first, second, third, fourth and paediatric COVID-19 vaccines for those eligible. Both Pfizer and Moderna vaccines are available.

The Vax And Ride clinics will be open throughout the Easter long weekend starting this Thursday from noon to 7 p.m. at the following TTC stations:
• Sheppard West

“So far, more than 1,800 people have received their COVID-19 vaccine dose from a Vax And Ride clinic. With the tremendous success of Vax And Ride, I am pleased to announce that this campaign will continue throughout the Easter long weekend. It is great to see that Torontonians are embracing the ease and convenience of vaccine clinics at TTC stations. Thank you to all our partners involved in bringing this campaign to life and for enabling us to extend it an extra weekend. – Mayor John Tory

“Since the very beginning of our vaccination campaign, our commitment has been to break down barriers, build trust, and make vaccines accessible for all. Toronto’s world leading vaccination rates didn’t happen by accident, rather they are the result of a relentless data-driven and hyper-local strategy. With the expansion of Vax and Ride, we’re continuing to scale up this work to protect every Torontonian, everywhere.”
– Councillor Joe Cressy (Spadina-Fort York), Chair of the Toronto Board of Health
