Supply Ontario Welcomes Inaugural CEO Frank P. Rochon

Mr. Rochon will lead the government’s new centralized procurement agency

TORONTO – Supply Ontario today welcomed Frank P. Rochon as the first Chief Executive Officer to lead Ontario’s new centralized procurement agency. Mr. Rochon will work with Supply Ontario’s Board of Directors to establish the agency’s mandate and outline its strategic business plan. As the agency becomes operational, he will be responsible for leveraging its buying power as the largest public sector buyer in Canada, driving efficiency and productivity while fostering innovation and creating new market opportunities for Ontario businesses.

I understand the strategic importance and critical imperative of building this transformative agency and working collaboratively both with the public and private sector to drive government’s priorities to realize the benefits for the people of Ontario”, said Mr. Rochon. “My team and I will work hard to deliver strong and consistent results.”

Prior to being appointed Chief Executive Officer of Supply Ontario, Mr. Rochon spent more than 30 years experience guiding numerous complex transformations in public, private and not-for-profit sectors with expertise in finance, management, and operational leadership. He has been a member of Deloitte Canada’s executive leadership team for over 20 years, most recently as Vice Chairman and Managing Partner. Mr. Rochon was also an active member of Deloitte’s Global Executive leadership which allowed him to build a robust and distinguished global network.

“Having a visionary leader like Mr. Rochon as CEO of Supply Ontario will be important to ensure that hospitals, schools, and the entire public sector always have the critical supplies and equipment they need to keep Ontarians safe while building the best-in-class public sector supply chain for Ontario,” said Lisa Thompson, Minister of Government and Consumer Services. “This is another step forward in advancing Supply Ontario’s role to help save taxpayers money, support greater domestic production and drive job creation and economic growth.”
