Team Toronto continues to ramp up vaccination efforts with 60 clinics this weekend

The City of Toronto is working non-stop with its healthcare partners, pharmacies and Toronto Public Health to administer all available COVID-19 vaccines. To date, 2,311,561 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered in Toronto.

As of yesterday evening, approximately 760,200 people have booked COVID-19 vaccination appointments at a City-operated clinic. Vaccinations at City clinics are by appointment only and walk-in clients cannot be accommodated.

People who cannot or plan not to attend a scheduled appointment are urged to cancel or reschedule them. This provides an opportunity for others to book an available appointment, and ensures that the maximum number of people are able to receive their COVID vaccine as quickly as possible.

Yesterday, the City opened more than 10,000 additional vaccination appointments for next week at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, Cloverdale Mall and Scarborough Town Centre clinics. Everyone age 12 years or older is encouraged to book an appointment by clicking the blue “Book a Vaccine” button at www.toronto.ca/covid-19 or through phone by calling the Provincial Vaccine Booking Line at 1-833-943-3900.

Appointments are available for youth 12 to 18 years old at City-operated clinics, and youth are encouraged to book an appointment as soon as possible.
