This morning, Toronto Mayor John Tory was joined at a Thorncliffe Park mobile vaccination clinic by Medical Officer of Health Dr. Eileen de Villa and Toronto Paramedic Services Chief Paul Raftis to promote Team Toronto mobile COVID-19 vaccination clinics happening across the city.
Mobile clinics offering COVID-19 vaccination, as well as testing, have been a part of the City of Toronto and Team Toronto’s COVID-19 strategy for months. During any given week, there are more than 100 mobile clinics deployed across the city, predominately in neighbourhoods with low vaccination and/or high COVID-19 case rates. Clinics are staffed by Toronto Paramedics, Toronto Public Health and Team Toronto partners including Michael Garron Hospital and The Neighbourhood Organization. In locations that do not have adequate indoor space for a clinic, clinics take place in TTC buses, reducing barriers for individuals in some of the city’s most vulnerable neighbourhoods.
Toronto Public Health mobile clinics have now administered more than 10,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccine across Toronto. As Team Toronto continues to transition to a micro-targeted approach for vaccination, bringing vaccines to places Torontonians live, work and play, these successful mobile clinics are more important than ever.
Today’s Thorncliffe Park clinic is the most recent of 19 mobile clinics supported by Toronto Paramedics in Don Valley West. The team runs clinics Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at different locations across East York, Flemingdon Park and Thorncliffe Park. The 19 clinics have administered more than 500 doses of COVID-19 vaccine. Today’s clinic will run until 3:30 p.m.

• Sheppard-Yonge Subway Station, October 6 to 8 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Martin Grove Mall, October 6 to 10 from 12:30 to 7 p.m.
• Buchanan Public School, October 8 from 4 to 7 p.m.
• Weston Park Baptist Church, October 9 from noon to 4 p.m.
• Waterfront Neighbourhood Centre, October 9 from noon to 4 p.m.
• Thistletown Community Centre, October 9 from 1 to 5 p.m.
