Toronto Sport Hall of Honour induction ceremony to return in-person on Thursday

On Thursday, the City of Toronto, including invited guests, will celebrate and honour local Toronto athletes, builders, legends and volunteers during the Toronto Sport Hall of Honour induction ceremony. This will be the first time since 2019 the event has been hosted in person.

The Toronto Sport Hall of Honour, a legacy of the 2015 Pan Am and Parapan Am Games, celebrates the contributions and accomplishments of those who have inspired and brought recognition to Toronto through sport. The induction ceremony will once again be hosted by the CBC’s Scott Russell and will include the unveiling of this year’s Wall of Honour.

Date:   Thursday, September 8
Location: Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre, 875 Morningside Ave.
Media Times:    5 to 6 p.m. – Inductees and/or representatives available for pre-event interviews
6:30 to 8 p.m. – Induction ceremony (media welcome)
8 to 8:15 p.m. – Official unveiling of the 2022 Wall of Honour (media welcome)
8:15 to 9 p.m. – Inductees or representatives available for interviews
