Twenty One Pilots concert film delivers an immersive IMAX experience from a career-defining live show

Toronto – Twenty One Pilots are bringing one of the most significant performances of their career to the big screen with Twenty One Pilots: More Than We Ever Imagined, a new concert film arriving in IMAX® and cinemas worldwide on February 26, with limited IMAX previews beginning February 25.

The film, distributed globally by Trafalgar Releasing, captures the band’s sold-out Mexico City stadium performance during The Clancy World Tour, where Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun performed in front of 65,000 fans.

Tickets officially went on sale January 15 at TwentyOnePilots.film.

A Stadium Show Turned Cinematic Experience

Filmed in Mexico City—one of the world’s most culturally influential music capitals—the concert film blends large-scale performance footage with behind-the-scenes access, offering viewers a closer look at the preparation, pressure, and emotional build-up behind a landmark show.

Audiences follow the band from their arrival in the city through soundcheck and final preparations, culminating in the full stadium performance. The film features exclusive commentary from Joseph and Dun, reflecting on the journey that took them from small club shows to global stadium tours and the relationship they’ve built with their fanbase along the way.

Director Mark C. Eshleman, who has worked closely with the band over many years, said the project offered a rare opportunity to capture two perspectives: the fan experience inside the stadium and the quieter moments behind the scenes that shape the performance.

Designed for the IMAX Experience

The film marks Twenty One Pilots’ first concert release in IMAX, using more than 20 cameras positioned throughout the stadium—from aerial shots to crowd-level angles—to immerse viewers in the scale and intensity of the live show.

Kymberli Frueh, EVP of Programming and Content Acquisitions at Trafalgar Releasing, said the IMAX format allows audiences to experience the energy and sound of the performance in a way that closely mirrors being there in person.

Continuing a Record-Setting Career

The concert film follows a landmark period for Twenty One Pilots, who released their eighth studio album Breach in September 2025. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and marked the biggest rock debut of the decade.

The Columbus-based duo have accumulated more than 34 billion global streams, sold over four million concert tickets worldwide, and earned multiple RIAA Diamond certifications for hits including Stressed Out and Heathens. Their recent Clancy Tour: Breach 2025 concluded with two sold-out nights at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles.
