Halloween and rock music lovers alike are invited to “Scream” this upcoming Friday October 27th and Saturday October 28th at the Ten Gallon Bar & Grill (446 Davis Dr, Newmarket, ON L3Y 2P2), all in support of a good cause.
Presented by local concert promoters Newmarket Loud, “Scream” is the organizers’ inaugural Halloween festival, celebrating top independent punk, rock and metal bands from the York/Simcoe region, as well as some notable touring acts including award-winning rock trio, Rose Cora Perry & The Truth Untold, fresh off their US tour.
Beyond the stacked two day music lineup, door prizes will be awarded for “Best Costumes”. A “Scream Pass” will run you a cool $20 and guarantee a front row seat to the action both nights. Alternatively, admission at the door ($15 per night) is available.
Proceeds from the festival will be donated to The Newmarket Food Pantry. Attendees are encouraged to provide non-perishable food items for collection.
Doors open at 6:30 pm on both nights. The event is 19+.
Rose Cora Perry & The Truth Untold hit the stage on Friday October 27th at 8:45pm. The band has been successfully touring this summer in support of their hit single, “Not My Time” which has achieved radio play on 50 stations across North America and over 100,000 views on Youtube.
The complete Friday night lineup includes: Four Two Nothing, The Speedhumps, Battlescarred, By Octopi, Hysterics, Hey Slugger & The Readys.
The complete Saturday night lineup includes: The Fractured, Wolf Fang Fist, Hell Diver, Out of Spite, Die Sci Fi, Bilious, Cadillac Blood, Burdizzo & It Cometh.
