Calling all Musicians, Performers, Food + Beverage Entrepreneurs and Hosts: Base31 Needs You!

PICTON, ON, FEB. 7, 2023 – Base31 is pleased to invite three groups of collaborators to join us for the 2023 season: musicians and performers, food and beverage entrepreneurs and individuals looking to host unique ticketed experiences on site.

Base31 is a cultural destination in Prince Edward County, on the site of a former WWII airbase on 70 acres with over 40 barracks and buildings originally built in 1940. Since opening the site to the public in May 2022, the capital projects team has worked tirelessly to revitalize and breathe new life into the buildings while the events and programming team plan and curate new experiences for visitors and community alike.

Base31 is thrilled to offer three call outs to the community and surrounding region. The first is a call for musicians and performers who are interested in performing in one of the three venues or outdoor locations. To apply, fill out the form here.

The second is a call for food and beverage entrepreneurs. The food and beverage team is creating a one-of-a-kind offering to support a group of entrepreneurs who will be the successful candidates for an incubator and accelerator program, designed to give local entrepreneurs everything they need to skyrocket their food business. Finally, Base31 seeks to invite community members of all walks who are interested in offering unique experiences on site. Prince Edward County is known for its dynamic summer markets offering beautiful, artisanal products and produce, but Base31 is taking a different approach. Rather than organizing a traditional market, Base31 is organizing a marketplace that sells experiences (not products) to our visitors.
