MISSISSAUGA STEELHEADS COMPLETE TRADE WITH THE GUELPH STORM

MISSISSAUGA, ON – The Mississauga Steelheads have completed a trade with the Guelph Storm, sending Zander Veccia in exchange for a second-round pick in 2026 (GUE), third-round pick in 2025 (KIT), fifth-round pick in 2024 (SBY), and a conditional fourth-round pick in 2027 (GUE).

Zander Veccia was drafted by the Mississauga Steelheads in the third-round (43rd overall) of the 2020 OHL Priority Selection. The Ridgetown, Ontario native skated in 166 games for the Trout, recording 97 points (38G, 59A), also appearing in 16 playoff games, totaling 7 points (3G, 4A).
