Mississauga Steelheads Lose Home Opener to Sudbury Wolves 2 – 6

The Mississauga Steelheads played their first home game of the season against the visiting Sudbury Wolves on October 2nd.  The game was held at the Paramount Fine Foods Center in Mississauga.

The Steelheads were shutout in the first period with the Wolves scoring a goal by M. Boudreau 17:22 minutes in the 1st period.

Two more goals in the 2nd by the Wolves gave them a 3 – 1 lead going into the 3rd period. C. Callaghan scored the first goal for the Steelheads 12:40 in the 2nd period.

The Wolves finished off the Steelheads in the 3rd scoring 3 more goals and giving them a 6 – 2 win on the road.
