Today, Ukraine President his Excellency Volodymyr Zelenskyy addressed the Canadian Parliament virtually from his war torn Country of Ukraine.
The Ukraine President spoke about the need for more help from Western Nations. What life is like in Ukraine during war. As well as, the need for the 1.2 million people in the Canadian Ukrainian diaspora to step up and help in these unprecedented times.

Political Party Leaders
Leaders of all the political parties were in the house for the Ukraine President’s address to Canadian Parliament.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau opened the event with a few quick words.
“In the years i’ve known you i have always thought of you as a champion for democracy. Now democracies around the world are lucky to have you as our champion” said the Canadian Prime Minister during his speech.
Interim Leader of the Conservative party Candice Bergeron echoed the calls of the Ukrainian President for a no fly zone.
“We must do more together with our allies to secure Ukraine airspace” said the conservative party interim leader during her remarks.
Leader of the NDP Jagmeet Singh said:
“He asked us to imagine what it’s like to wake up at 4am to bombings…. and frankly we can’t imagine it”
Elizabeth May, Leader of the Green Party, gave an impassioned speech.
“We must use every tool and I fear the tools we have in front of us are inadequate for the task.”
“We will find every tool we can find and where there aren’t adequate tools, by God let’s invent them”
It has been 20 long days since Russia invaded Ukraine. It is unimaginable what the Ukraine people are going through. We pray to God to intervene and end this war as soon as possible.
