MISSISSAUGA, ON – The Mississauga Steelheads will once again be hosting one of the most unique games on the calendar as they welcome dogs and their owners to the Paramount Fine Foods Centre.
On Sunday November 26th at 4:00pm the team will be hosting their annual Pucks N’ Paws game presented by Global News in support of the Toronto Humane Society. The upcoming game is the first of two Pucks N’ Paws games this season, with the Trout facing the Soo Greyhounds. The second game will be hosted in the new year on Sunday February 25th at 4:00pm when they take on the Sudbury Wolves. For both games, fans can and are encouraged to bring their four-legged friends.
Chief Meteorologist at Global News Anthony Farnell commented on his excitement for the event. “Being able to sit and watch the Mississauga Steelheads play hockey without the guilt of knowing your furry friend is stuck at home is what makes Pucks N’ Paws such a great event. I’m a huge supporter of being able to bring my dog Storm with me wherever I go, but that’s not always possible. For pooches, Pucks N’ Paws is more than just a day out, it’s an opportunity to socialize with other dogs while also being next to their human best friend. Win Win!!!”
Fans and their pups can also enjoy a variety of vendors including doggy spas, rescues, humane societies, grooming and more thanks to the support of Doggos. There will also be prizes given throughout the game to keep your best friend happy. A designated bathroom area outside will also be available for your friend to relieve themselves.
As part of our promotional games, the Family Four Pack will also be available which includes, four tickets, four drinks and four popcorn for just $95 plus tax. With every ticket purchased, your dog will receive a complimentary ticket to the game. Steelheads fans bringing their good boys and girls to the game can fetch tickets by clicking HERE.
