Sloane Avenue to Kennedy Road

Construction Works at Kennedy Station and Eastern Surface Section (Ionview, Birchmount, Golden Mile, Hakimi-Lebovic, Pharmacy, O’Connor, and Sloane Stops)

• Kennedy Station Updates 
  • Parking spaces are being reduced in existing Kennedy Station parking lots to accommodate Crosstown construction activities. Read the construction notice.
  • Enbridge will relocate a gas line on Eglinton Avenue East (between Kennedy Road and Midland Avenue) and on Kennedy Road (between Treverton Drive and Eglinton Avenue East) at the end of June. Read the construction notice.
  • Hydro relocation will also start from Birchmount Road to Kennedy Station along Eglinton Avenue East.

• Surface Section Updates
  • Continued clearing, grubbing, and pruning for trees between Don Avon Drive and Rosemount Drive.
  • Ongoing Preparatory Works and Street Furniture Removal along Eglinton Avenue East between Brentcliffe Road and Midland Avenue, including Transway Crescent and the Eglinton Avenue loops near Kennedy Station.
  • The Victoria Park – Eglinton Parkette will be a clean soil storage site; fencing around the parkette will go up soon.
  • Crews will begin preparing the road for future surface stop construction. Read the construction notice.
