The leaders began by addressing the situation in Haiti, where they welcomed a political agreement among Haitian stakeholders. Trudeau and Macron emphasized the crucial need to restore democratic order in the Caribbean nation and expressed support for the United Nations-authorized Multinational Security Support mission aimed at restoring stability. Additionally, discussions centered on finding common solutions to fishing interests and ensuring long-term sustainability.

Looking ahead, both leaders agreed to maintain regular communication and cooperation to advance shared priorities.
