Vax And Ride returns to offer COVID-19 vaccinations at eight TTC stations for back-to-school season

The successful Vax And Ride is back as Toronto Public Health partners with the TTC to offer 48 pop-up COVID-19 immunization clinics inside eight TTC subway stations for the back-to-school season.

These family-friendly and youth-friendly clinics will provide first, second, third, fourth and children’s COVID-19 doses to eligible residents age five and up on a walk-in basis, with no appointments or health card required. Pfizer and Moderna will be offered. TTC fare payment is not required to access the Vax And Ride vaccination clinics. Face masks will be required in the clinic site.

On Thursdays and Fridays, Vax And Ride pop-up COVID-19 vaccination clinics are available September 9, 15, 16, 22 and 23, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the following TTC stations:
•       Bathurst
•       Islington
•       Union
•       York University

On weekends, Vax And Ride pop-up COVID-19 vaccination clinics are available Saturdays and Sundays, September 10, 11, 17, 18, 24 and 25, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the following stations:
•       Jane
•       Sheppard West
•       St. Clair West
•       Warden

Vax And Ride is part of Team Toronto’s continued equity-focused, hyper-local mobile strategy to bring COVID-19 vaccination opportunities to places where residents live, work and play.

Residents can also get vaccinated at City-run immunization clinics, primary care offices and more than 525 pharmacies. All eligible residents are encouraged to get their third and fourth doses as soon as possible. As with vaccinations for other diseases, people are protected best when their COVID-19 vaccinations are up to date. COVID-19 vaccinations have been scientifically proven to lower the risk of illness, hospitalization and death, while protecting people, their loved ones and the community.
