Winners announced for the 2023 Mississauga Urban Design Awards

The City of Mississauga is pleased to announce the winners of the 2023 Mississauga Urban Design Awards. Launched in 1981, the Mississauga Urban Design Awards recognize and celebrate the dedication of urban planners, designers, artists, architects who have helped shape the City as it has developed and transformed over the years.

The ceremony took place at the Small Arms Inspection Building on Thursday, September 21 in Mississauga and the jury members were pleased to announce the winners and celebrate their achievements.

Background

The Mississauga Urban Design Awards was established in 1981 and is Ontario’s longest running urban design awards program. The awards are a celebration of excellence for innovative, dynamic, and trendsetting urban design projects that are transforming Mississauga.

This year’s theme was “The Next Big Thing.”
