Canada Day at Queen’s Park

Statement by the Prime Minister on National Flag of Canada Day

The province’s official celebration of Canada Day and Ontario 150 will be held on Saturday, July 1 on the front lawn of the Ontario Legislature in Toronto.

The following roads will be closed from 6 a.m. on July 1 to 1 a.m. on July 2:

  • Queen’s Park Crescent East from College Street to Wellesley Street West
  • Queen’s Park Crescent West from College Street to Hoskin Avenue
  • Grosvenor Street from Queen’s Park Crescent East to Surrey Place
  • Wellesley Street West from Queen’s Park Crescent East to Queen’s Park Crescent West

Media must present parking passes along with valid accreditation for access to the grounds on July 1. Media parking passes can be obtained before June 30 from the ministry’s Communications Branch contact listed below.
