The City of Toronto is expanding hours at the Bermondsey and Ingram Drop-Off Depots to increase opportunities for residents to drop off waste. Throughout the pandemic, hours at these locations were adjusted to ensure efficient access for waste collection vehicles. Beginning Monday, September 13, these locations will fully resume their regular pre-pandemic hours.
Bermondsey Drop-Off Depot will be open to the public from Monday at 6 a.m. to Friday at 9 p.m. (24-hour operation), and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Ingram Drop-Off Depot will be open to the public from Monday at 6 a.m. to Saturday at 12:30 p.m. (24-hour operation). Residents can drop-off general waste such as garbage, Blue Bin recycling, yard waste and renovation waste. Both sites are also open for drop-off of household hazardous waste and electronic waste Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The other five Drop-Off Depots are all operating on regular business hours. A mask or face covering must be worn when visiting any Drop-Off Depot. Those exempt from wearing a mask/face covering must schedule their arrival time by calling 311. Cash is not accepted at any Drop-Off Depots, payment must be made via debit or credit card.
