Eggleton then secured the win for the Steelheads with his second goal late in the third period.

The Steelheads outshot the IceDogs with a total of 43 shots compared to Niagara’s 25.

In recognition of their performances, the three stars of the game were awarded to William Eggleton (2 goals), Ryerson Leenders (21 saves), and Lucas Karmiris (1 goal).
