Get Ready to Vote: Monday is Election Day

The 2022 Municipal Election is on Monday, October 24 and Mississauga polling locations will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Eligible voters can cast their ballot at any polling location within their ward on Election Day. Voters can visit the Mississauga Votes website for a list of polling locations in their ward. Live wait time information for each location will make it easy to select the most convenient place to vote.

Voters are encouraged to bring their Voter Notification Card to make voting even quicker. To receive a ballot, eligible voters must bring acceptable identification that includes their name and address.

After polls close at 8 p.m., live unofficial election results will be posted on Mississauga Votes website as counts come in from each polling station. Unofficial results will be updated on a regular basis until all polling stations have reported.

In addition to voting on Election Day, Mississauga voters were offered seven days of advance voting over two weekends. In total, 28,052 people cast their vote at advance polls.
