KEVIN BORG BECOMES PART OF MISSISSAUGA STEELHEADS OWNERSHIP GROUP

Kevin Borg joins the hockey club as an owner ahead of the 2023-24 season

MISSISSAUGA, ON –  The Mississauga Steelheads announced on Thursday that Kevin Borg is officially part of the hockey club’s ownership group.

Raised in Malton, Mississauga, Ontario, Kevin Borg is a graduate of Ascension of Our Lord Secondary school and has played in the Mississauga Hockey league as a youth.  Kevin has been involved with coaching various youth girl hockey teams in the community and loves to give back.  Minor Hockey and the OHL is Kevin’s true passion and his knowledge of the game and players is almost unmatched.  Outside of the game, Kevin is a Certified Engineering Technologist, specializing in sales, operations and marketing and is the co-founder and Vice President of Sales and Operations at Aztec Electrical Supply.

Kevin commented on acquiring part of the team. “I am thrilled and honoured to have the opportunity to join the Mississauga Steelheads organization as an owner.  I am excited to support the dedicated and passionate individuals who make up the Mississauga Steelheads organization.  Together, we will continue to strive to create a winning culture and provide an exceptional experience for the fans.”

President and Owner of the Mississauga Steelheads Elliott Kerr also commented on the newest owner. “I am thrilled to welcome Kevin to our Steelheads family. Kevin brings so much to our organization on so many levels and I can’t wait to begin working with him!“.
