30 Points from Gary Trent Jr. not Enough for Raptors to Beat Suns, fall 113-120

Season high 30 points from Gary Trent Jr. was not enough for the Raptors to beat the Phoenix Suns Thursday night. The Raptors were playing the first of a four game road trip.

The Suns got off to a good start finishing the 1st qtr. with a 14 point lead. The Raptors gained their composure in the 2nd qtr. and played steady for the rest of the game.

Unfortunately for the Toronto Raptors they were not able to overcome the ruff start and fell to the Phoenix Suns 113 – 120.

High Scorers

The high scorer of all players was Kevin Durant scoring 35 points for the Phoenix Suns.  For the Raptors Gary Trent Jr. lead all players scoring 30 points followed by RJ Barrett with 23 and Immanuel Quicley with 21 points and a career high 18 assists.
