Toronto Raptors Blown-out by the New Orleans Pelicans 98 – 139

The Toronto Raptors suffered a blowout loss to the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday night in Toronto.  The team lost by a staggering 41 points. The Raptors were playing short handed without their franchise player Scottie Barnes or their starting Centre Jakob Poeltl. The result a 98 – 139 loss at home.

High Scorers

The high scorer and player of the game was Trey Murphy 111, for the Pelicans, scoring 34 points in 29 minutes.  The top scorer for the Raptors was Immanuel Quickley scoring 17 points with 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Recent G-league call up Javon Freeman-Liberty scored an impressive 13 points in 18 minutes of play off the bench.

Next Game

The next game for the Toronto Raptors is on March 7th when they take on Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns on the road in Arizona.
