Tracking the Eglinton LRT: Laird Station

Crews will be installing and taking readings of above ground and in-ground monitoring points periodically for duration of the project in the vicinity of Eglinton Avenue East and Laird Drive. Short term lane closures on Eglinton Avenue and/or Laird Drive will be required for this work and some lane closures may be left in place overnight. Intermittent sidewalk closures will be required for this work.


Telecommunication utility relocations and site service connections continue this month at the Eglinton Avenue and Laird Drive intersection. Short term lane closures on Eglinton Avenue and/or Laird Drive will be required to complete this work. Also, two boreholes will be drilled at the main and secondary entrances which will have similar short term lane closures.

Excavation work within both the main and secondary entrance sites continue. Crews are starting on level two at the main entrance and are starting the third level at the secondary entrance.
