Patrons can experience the show live or online

Canadian jazz star Elise LeGrow is back in Burlington for two shows this Sunday, October 25, appearing at the Burlington Performing Arts Centre (BPAC) Community Studio Theatre at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Originally slated to perform at the BPAC March 22, the concert was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Health and Safety Precautions

BPAC is perfectly positioned to welcome back audiences with patron safety at the forefront, with its spacious Lobby, increased ventilation, physical-distancing ticketing system and additional health and safety measures to put theatregoers’ minds at ease.

All patrons must wear a mask, hand sanitizer upon entry and maintain physical distancing outside of their social circle. Patrons are expected to self-screen, and of course to stay at home if experiencing COVID-related symptoms or if suspecting recent exposure to the virus. Health and safety measures are also being implemented backstage to protect artists, and throughout the venue to protect staff and volunteers.

“It was a difficult, disappointing decision to postpone Elise LeGrow’s concert in March, and all of the other shows from the end of our 2019-2020 season,” said BPAC Executive Director Tammy Fox. “Bringing her back to perform for a small audience in an intimate setting feels like a real win. We can offer a special concert experience for all our patrons, while maintaining health and safety protocols to keep everyone safe.”

About Elise LeGrow

With a thunderous rasp and spellbinding style, Elise LeGrow is a Canadian powerhouse who melds fiery passion with just a hint of sandpaper grit. Back to serenade Burlington, BPAC audiences will remember her from the 2018 Jazz Festival and appearance with Royal Wood.

Patrons can still get tickets to see this personal performance in an intimate setting from the BPAC Box Office. Tickets are $39, or $34 for BPAC Members.

Fans can also watch a live stream of Sunday evening’s show, directly from the BPAC’s Community Studio Theatre on Sessions.
