Good morning, Canada! Good day France, and hello to all F1 enthusiasts new and present.  Today we start practice for the 12th race of the 2022 F1 season at the Lenovo Grand Prix Circuit Paul Ricard in France.

If this race is anything like last season we are in for a sensational “Undercut” last lap win again. Were Verstappen “Undercuts” and “Overtakes” Hamilton for the win on Race Day Sunday.

After a week’s lag, we are back in Europe, where the next two races will take place back-to-back.  First we are here in France this weekend and then onto Hungary, for the 13th race of the season.

Leaderboard

Leading the championship leaderboard, we have Red Bull Racing Driver Max Verstappen ahead by 38 pts and a total of 208 pts.

In 2nd is Ferrari Driver Charles Leclerc with 170 pts and in 3rd is Red Bull Racing teammate Sergio Perez with 151
pts.

In the Constructors “team” leaderboard, with 359 pts in first place, we have Red Bulling Racing, followed by Ferrari in 2nd with 303 pts and in 3rd is Mercedes with 237 pts.
