The team will be continuing their tradition of wearing pink jerseys throughout the game to bring awareness to breast cancer and breast cancer research. These specialty jerseys will be auctioned off online, with the proceeds going to the Canadian Cancer Society. Specialty Pink at the Rink pucks will be available to purchase as well, with each puck signed by a member of the Steelheads. Mystery pucks will be available for purchase for $10, while pucks signed by NHL prospects Owen Beck, Ethan Del Mastro, Luca Del Bel Belluz and Kai Schwindt will be available to purchase for $20. Jerseys and pucks can be purchased through DASH by clicking here.

The game will also be in association with the Mississauga Girls Hockey League (MGHL), who will be hosting a puck toss at the game. Fans are encouraged to buy their pucks early and participate during the second intermission for the chance to win amazing prizes.

The Pink at the Rink game is also one of Mississauga’s many Winning Nights. If the Steelheads walk away with the win on November 18th, attending fans will be able to redeem tickets for the Sunday November 27th game against the Kingston Frontenacs.

Fans are encouraged to wear pink to the game and donate in support of breast cancer research and awareness. This is one of the many promotional nights the Steelheads are hosting this season. It is a great way to spend time with your family and friends while also attending a hockey game to support a great cause.
