Mississauga, November 7, 2022—Rabba Fine Foods, the GTA’s 24/7 neighbourhood market, has won the 2022 Convenience Store News Canada Impact Award for its local efforts and positive social impact.
Winners of the Convenience Store News Canada inaugural Impact Awards were announced today. The award won by Rabba Fine Foods in the community service category recognizes inspiring companies making a positive impact across the convenience industry. Rabba’s charitable branch, the Rabba Roots Program, has made a noticeable impact in local communities.
“Through Rabba Roots, we support local organizations that are crucial supports to the neighbourhoods they serve – making a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need. We are committed to contributing positively to the community,” said Rick Rabba, president of Rabba Fine Foods. “We are proud to be a recipient of this industry award and would like to thank our partners, suppliers and our customers for helping to make this happen.”
Rabba’s 24-hour locations are run with convenience in mind as well as a ‘Here for You’ promise to its customers. The Rabba Roots Program helps support communities’ most vulnerable people and allows Rabba to be there for them as well. Through this program, Rabba supports organizations such as Trillium Health Partners, The Grocery Foundation, Good Shepherd Ministries and The Mississauga Food Bank.
