“It feels good to be on the podium, but I wanted to achieve more, I’m a bit disappointed. We could have finished second, but we had a bad pit stop, which prevented us from making the undercut to be closer to Lewis. I had to take care of my tyres, we were thinking of doing a two stop race but the wear was higher than expected. This venue and the spectators are amazing and I will never forget these moments thanks to the people. It is, without doubt if not the best, one of the best crowds in Formula 1, I’m very privileged to have this support. Now I just want to win the next two races, we had the pace in the last ones, so now I just want to put it all together, eliminate small problems and then I think we can do it.”

“The first stage of the race was critical and we managed to stay in the lead after the first corner. Obviously we followed a different strategy than the drivers around us and we had to take great care of the tyres. pretty good pace on the soft tyre, although it wears out a bit more, and then we drive the medium to the finish. Winning 14 races in one season is amazing, we’re having a great year as a team and that’s the most important thing. We keep pushing and we want to win as many races as possible, it’s really special what we’re all achieving together this year.”

The Oracle Red Bull Racing team is competing in F1 this season using a power unit supplied by Red Bull Powertrains (RBPT) with technical support from Honda Racing Corporation (HRC). So far this season, the team has shown outstanding performance and has claimed the double title of drivers and constructors.

From the 2022 F1 Japanese Grand Prix, until the end of this season, in addition to the HRC logo, the Honda logo was added to Oracle Red Bull Racing and Scuderia AlphaTauri racing vehicles.
