TORONTO — Today, Doug Ford, Premier of Ontario, issued the following statement on Rosh Hashanah:
“This evening, the Jewish community across Ontario will come together to celebrate Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year.
This is an important time for Jewish families to share a meal with loved ones and reflect on the year gone by. It is also a time for renewal — to right wrongs and to work to better oneself.
I hope this new year brings health, peace, and prosperity for all of the families celebrating these High Holy Days.”
