Statement by Premier Doug Ford on the Beginning of Hanukkah

Today, Premier Doug Ford issued the following statement to mark the beginning of Hanukkah:

“I wish my friends in Ontario’s Jewish community a very happy Hanukkah as you mark the beginning of the festival of light this evening.

The next eight days are a time to celebrate togetherness with friends and family. Hanukkah is also a time to find light in the darkness, and reflect on the resilience of the Jewish people in the face of hatred and adversity.

On behalf of my family and the government of Ontario, I hope that you and your loved ones are blessed with peace, love and happiness.

Happy Hanukkah!”
